Hoppy Easter to You!

Easter is the beginning of spring, warm weather and new life! I love the Easter holiday and I love having a traditional Easter ham with all our favorite sides. The kids helped me make an Easter Bunny chocolate cake covered in coconut. My sister Sue dresses up like the Easter Bunny every year and hops around the yard hiding eggs. And every now and then we get a family picture - with Stella and Charlie making an appearance!

Tutu's and Choo Choo's Party

For Amelia's 2nd and Owen's 4th birthday we decided to do a combo party since they share a lot of the same play group friends. Amelia loves ballerinas and Owen loves trains so we decided that a Tutu's and Choo Choo's party would be perfect!

The guests were greeted with ballerina rings and wands as well as orange train conductor bandanas.
Amelia had a ballerina themed cake and cupcakes and Owen had a train cake with railroad crossing sign cupcakes
Auntie Lala helped get the kids ready for their celebration.
The kids had juice boxes and water while the adults had a vodka creamsicle bar.

Owen and Amelia loved their cupcakes!
For favors the kids were given sidewalk chalk with fun sidewalk chalk holders. You're Tutu Sweet and Tank Choo for Coming!
We always have a blast celebrating the kids birthdays and feel so lucky to have such great friends to help enjoy their day!
